This Privacy Policy describes how OroTek LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains information in connection with Soar Beyond ("the Game") and related services (support, feedback, and community channels).
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
a) Data you provide directly:
- Contact and identifying information you choose to give us — for example, your name and email address when you contact support, submit feedback, report a bug, or otherwise communicate with us.
- The content of any communications, attachments, screenshots, save files, or logs you submit.
b) Data collected automatically:
- Gameplay events, feature usage, session duration, and progression data.
- Device and account identifiers (e.g. advertising ID, device ID, hashed hardware identifiers), device type, operating system, and app version.
- IP address and location derived from it (which may indicate more than country-level granularity, such as city or region).
- Crash and error diagnostic data, which may incidentally include content present in memory or logs at the time of the crash.
- Purchase and transaction data where the Game or a connected storefront processes payments (subject also to that storefront's own policies).
c) Data from other sources:
- Information from platform storefronts, analytics providers, and other third parties described in Section 4, which we may combine with data described above.
2. ANALYTICS AND TELEMETRY
The Game may collect and transmit gameplay, device, and usage telemetry to help us operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Game, understand player behavior, and inform business and marketing decisions. Where an in-Game analytics opt-in setting is presented, it governs the specific telemetry stream it describes; other collection and processing described in this Policy (including support communications, crash/error capture, and third-party SDKs) is not limited by that setting.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to: operate and improve the Game; provide support and respond to feedback; analyze usage trends and player behavior; personalize content and offers; develop new features; measure and improve advertising; detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and comply with legal obligations.
4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share information with:
- Service providers and vendors who process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and similar functions).
- Analytics and advertising partners, who may use device and usage data for measurement, attribution, and ad personalization across products.
- Other third parties as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
- Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when we believe disclosure is required or appropriate to comply with the law, protect our rights, or protect the safety of users or the public.
Information shared with analytics and advertising partners may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some laws (e.g. the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended). See Section 6 for your choices.
5. SAVE DATA
Your save games and preferences are stored locally on your device at the path provided by your operating system's user data directory. We do not access this data remotely unless you explicitly share it with us (for example, by attaching a save file to a support or feedback submission).
6. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Data portability (receive a copy of your data in a portable format).
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and limit the use of sensitive personal information (California and similar states).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (EEA/UK residents) or state attorney general/regulator, as applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, or to opt out of analytics/advertising sharing described in Section 4, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will honor verifiable requests as required by applicable law; we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Game integrates or may integrate third-party services (for example, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising SDKs). When enabled, these services process data under their own privacy policies in addition to this one. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties acting independently of our instructions.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for as long as necessary to operate the Game, provide support, satisfy the purposes described in this Policy, or comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and service provider. To request deletion of data we hold, contact us using the details in Section 10; local save data can also be removed at any time by deleting the game's user data directory from your device.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) beyond what is described in this Policy as strictly necessary. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us using the details in Section 10 and we will take appropriate steps to address it.
